[Beauty] APRILSKIN Magic Snow Cushion Review
I bet that a lot of you knew the brand APRILSKIN because it's so famous all over online shops this year, and the Magic Snow Cushion has been recommended by lotsa beauty bloggers for the awesome coverage.
Well I've been eyeing on it for a while since I need an affordable yet high coverage cushion compact cause, I'm lazy to apply liquid foundation and BB cream these few days, heh. Finally I've got it from Althea Korea and I'm gonna share out my honest opinion towards this product, like is that really good or not.
If you've read my previous beauty reviews for the past few months, you definitely know my skin condition was so bad that have to stop cosmetics. What makes me wanna purchase this cushion to use again is not just because of the strong coverage but also because that APRILSKIN is a natural cosmetic brand where they use irritation-free ingredients in all of their products.
This cushion compact provides flawless coverage, whitening, moisture, anti-ageing and UV protection. It's suitable for combination to oily skin as it will also provides a matte finish.

What makes me wanna purchase this cushion to use again is not just because of the strong coverage but also because that APRILSKIN is a natural cosmetic brand where they use irritation-free ingredients in all of their products.
If you're having dry skin, they have another version which is Magic Snow Cushion White that comes with 2x moisture effect in it.
The given application sponge is super soft and comfortable to be used on the skin.
Once it's unsealed, there was a light natural fragrance smell come out from the cushion.
Compared to other cushion compacts, the magic snow cushion has a more bumpy cushion because of the Double Cushion Technique - Two cushions are overlapped to lock and maintain moisture, and hence, the cushion may be pre-soaked.
The foundation in it contains water-based serum more than 45% that provides moisture and allows makeup to last long and flawless.
The shades available are #21 Light Beige, #22 Pink Beige and #23 Natural Beige, and I've got it in #23 because my shade from Laneige BB Cushion is #23 as well. The shade actually looks kinda dark from the cushion itself, but let's see how it turns out on the skin.
The whitening effect is real. Unfortunately it's still too light for my skin even though it's their darkest shade already, but it's great to achieve Korean fair skin effect. The light texture and non-oily finish provides lasting coverage.
So here's my honest opinion. I've really impressed with the coverage as it does covers up my spots and even dark circles under my eyes and makes me look more awake. I can just use this to make ombre lips as well!
The finish is not oily, but I can't said that it's really matte. I really love the given application sponge as it's very soft and smooth that makes the blending easy and not cakey.
And here's an important note! As you can tell the super good coverage on the skin, it's recommended to cleanse the skin with cleansing brush or stuffs after using this product so that the foundation won't stay under the pores and irritates the skin. I've picked up this habit ever since I started to use BB Cushions because it freaks me out to see uncleaned foundations picked up by the cleansing brush even after I removed my makeup twice. You don't want any clogged pores skin or bad acne skin like I used to have, don't you? :)

I'm just too disappointed at the shade, I really hope that they can come out with darker shades for Malaysians because we have yellow undertone, which the fair-Korean-skin-whitening effect sometimes makes me looks like a ghost, no offence!!
Overall, this is by far the best cushion compact I've ever used! If you're looking for awesome coverage, this is definitely the best compact to get as it's really affordable.
