b.liv Nano Bio-cellulose Masks Review

Yay for another mask review cause beauty junkies love masks! Today I'm sharing about a new type of sheet mask from my favourite skincare brand b.liv - the nano bio-cellulose masks!

If you have been followed my blog or social media for a while, you knew that I have been loving b.liv's Repair and Rescue mask. I think I have been mentioning this on all of my b.liv products review cause I haven't been loving a mask since forever! Now I'm excited to share about their new kind of mask! So will I be loving it just like their previous Japan Silk mask? Let's find out!

From left to right:
  • hydrate away - moisturizing + revitalizing + hydrating
  • soothe me now - soothing + repair + rejuvenating
  • age eraser - youth preserving + firming + fine line reducing

So what exactly is a cellulose mask?

Bio-cellulose is a specialized nano scale fiber structure that fits perfectly like your second skin. it serves as a high volume serum reservoir i.e. holds moisture while allowing air to transfer freely and skin can breathe better. its 30 nanometers fiber increases extra contact surface area for crevices and wrinkles ; maximizing the absorption of effective essence.

I believe there are some other brands out there have this type of sheet mask but it's only my first time trying it.

Since the cellulose mask is a little bit fragile and easy to tear off, it comes with a mesh net to pevent it from tearing while we're holding it.

Usage Direction

1. Open the sachet and take out the mask. Remove protective material from both sides of the mask.
2. Place mask over face and lightly press with both hands to ensure it adheres completely.
3. Remove mask after 15-20 minutes and gently massage the remaining essence into skin.
4. Proceed with remaining essence skin care steps. for best results, use 2-3 times a week.

Note: bio-cellulose mask is made of nano scopic fiber. this fiber can naturally vary in thickness but in no way does this affect its efficiency or function.

My thoughts

I kind of love this mask very much cause it fits better than a lot of sheet mask out there! I loved their Japan Silk Mask, but this mask is even better!

I'm not sure is it because this mask is not cotton type, it doesn't absorb a lot of products into the mask but the essence is just staying on the surface, that's why after 15-20 minutes, the mask is almost dry. Initially I thought that the essence absorbed into my skin very fast, but it could be the reason that it won't get a lot of essence for you due to the texture of the mask. But just like all the masks, there will be a lot of essence remained in the packet so just add them on to your skin after that.

Overall Rating: 8/10

So will you get this product to try it out? I think you should, cause it's b.liv! Let me know your thoughts after you've tried it out! :)
