Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Powder (Translucent) Review


Looking at the packaging of this product itself, you'll feel that it's a must get to beautify your whole cosmetic collections without even knowing what it's for! Thanks to BFFsays for the product, today I'll be sharing my review on the Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Powder in Translucent!

It's an ultra-smooth, perfecting powder in a complementary palette of color blends together to even out skin tone with a flawless radiance. It can be used on full face or only parts that needs to be highlighted, but I'll only use it as a highlighter.


The compact has a double layer with the powder on and another with a small mirror and a mini brush, a super convenient product to bring it every where! Surprisingly with the double layer packaging, it's the same size as most of the cushion foundations are.


As you can tell, the whole powder contains more than 1 shade of pink, brown and white. It's not very pigmented when I lightly rub the colour once on my finger (since it's a highlighter), but it's build-able with a few more rubs to achieve the pigmentation as the image above.

The colours are very light and smooth, and when they all blends together, it will even out skin tone to achieve a flawless radiance. Other than that, you can just pick up the pink colour and use it as a blusher. I love multi-purposes product like this!


The small portable brush itself is cute in 2 bright colours, however the bristles doesn't seems very professional. It looks like nylon material which is not as friendly as fibre. If you're saying that it's to brush all over the face? I would rather use my own powder brush. But most probably I'll be using it only on my cheeks, so I'll close one eye for the bad quality of the brush.


After 1 swipe on the product with the given brush, it doesn't pick up much of the product. Would need to keep on swiping it after each apply.


I've just tried using the brush to apply it on my cheek as a highlighter. The difference is not much on the camera, but it does brightens up my cheek in a really natural way!


Overall I pretty love how it naturally glows up my cheeks, and most importantly the packaging is just so cute! Besides, I love the light sweet scent in it. The only down side is the brush, like I mentioned above that it's not very professional if it's for the whole face. It's very rough and too small for whole face, but perfect for highlighting purposes!
