Dry skin babes understand the feeling of needing to purchase a lot moisturizing products, from moisturizing shower gel to lotions and even body butter. But if we don't take good care of them, it will lead to different kind of serious skin problems such as itchiness, wrinkles, acne, big pores, crack heels, stretch mark, pigmentation and even bleeding skin.
For a lazy person like me, I really need something that's easy to use and saves time. So recently I'm trying out the handmade bird nest soap called The Nest from SOAPABABY that can be used in many ways, like in bath, as a lotion or cream, as a shaving foam or even hand mask itself! It does not just works to moisturize skin, but also to even heal most of the skin problems such as itchy and bleeding skin. So let's see if it really works the wonder!
This transparent soap is 100% handmade, and it contains 20 times of bird nest extract. Unlike other handmade soaps, The Nest will not turn soft or melt down after in use. And most importantly, it's very gentle to skin!
On the first look, I felt so excited because it's the kind of transparent jelly-like soap that we've seen often from a lot of DIY Lifestyle videos on YouTube! But it's not really jelly tho.
The normal usage is just like how you use most of the soap:
BUT. The unique selling point of The Nest is the layer making, which means applying different layers of the soap on your skin works to achieve different effects!
The more layer you make, the softer skin you get. Your skin won't feel dry but instead, the moisturizing level will increase by layer making. It is because the layers contains Bird Nest Collagen that will be securely coated on your skin. This stunning moisture lock effect will appear in 20 minutes after shower.
Besides, lotion and cream stays oily on skin, and doesn't really stay long throughout the day, but the Bird Nest Collagen that was coated on the skin will not be removed easily! That's why this soap was said to be irreplaceable by lotions and creams.
It can even be used other that showering because it's very gentle!
Sometimes I even wash my face with it, and to your surprise, you can apply it around your eyes and it will not irritate your eyes at all!

The normal usage is just like how you use most of the soap:
- Rub some foam on hand,
- Apply to body,
- Gently massage,
- Rinse off.
BUT. The unique selling point of The Nest is the layer making, which means applying different layers of the soap on your skin works to achieve different effects!
- For normal use - apply 1 layer per shower.
- For super moisturize effect, - repeat the steps for more than 1 time in a single shower.
- For itchy and bleeding skin - apply 2 to 3 layer per shower (for the first 4 shower). Itchy skin that caused by dryness will be solved after applying 3 layers in your first shower with The Nest.

- To use as a lip balm - apply some foam on lips, gently massage and rinse off.
- To use as a hand cream - just wash your hand with it.
- To use as a hand mask - Make layer on hand, wash with plain water after 20 minutes.
- To use as a shaving foam
Sometimes I even wash my face with it, and to your surprise, you can apply it around your eyes and it will not irritate your eyes at all!

My thoughts
I've almost mentioned everything good about it. Yes, they all did work! I really love that it's easy to make up foams and very smooth to apply on the whole body. It really makes my showering process so much better! Besides, the light bird nest scent feels really gentle, feels like applying the edible bird nest in your shower! I was trying to find some cons to talk about but honestly, I can't find any!
It was kinda sad that this product is not really famous in the market. I know that soap is not that famous in the market anymore but this is really a must try! I wasn't a fan of soap, but now I have been using this every day for a month, to my own surprise!
