Barbie Eyes with Barbie Eyesland Contact Lens


Hello Pinkyies! It's been a while that I share about contact lens. I have been wearing daily colour lens for certain occasion, but I'm already bored with the normal design and colours.

Recently I've came across a website called Barbie Eyesland that sells contact lens with soooo many choices or design and diameter, and the best thing is it's very affordable (MYR25-30 only)! Got myself a few designs and here I'm sharing my review on one of my purchase!


Looking at the brand and packaging itself, it's floraly and girlish looking, truly a Barbie Eyes-land! And they gave each lenses their own container, in oreo design!


Their diameter choices range from 14mm to 16.5mm, and the most common colour that can be found in the website is brown, choco, grey and black. There are a few blue and green, but they are at the price of MYR30 and above.

I got myself 3 Grey colour lens with different diameters of the lens - 14mm, 15mm and 16mm.


This is the 14mm one called Oh My Soul Grey 14mm. At first I was shocked to see brown in the middle, but luckily it doesn't show the brown on my eyes at all.

I have small eyes so I think that 14mm is more than enough for me, unless I'm going for a really bold look. Not sure when I'll only try out the 15mm and 16mm but will try to update the before and after images here!


My thoughts

The website itself is easy to surf and pick your favourite design, but you need to try your luck as they only provide images with pretty girls wearing it instead of the actual products.

Besides, the website didn't state whether the lens are to be worn for 7 days / 30 days / 3 months. I know that the common lifespan for a lens is 3 months max, or until the lens changed shape, but I personally wouldn't wear it for more than 2 weeks. Reason being I realized the lens is quite soft and a little bit difficult for me to put into my eyeballs, I will need a few attempts. It's really unlike those that I bought from optical shops.

Since the price of the contact lens are cheap, I would suggest you to get more designs (trust me, it's hard to pick only 1 or 3 cause they are too nice), and change them every 14-28 days. Keep in mind that you only have a pair of eyes so you wouldn't wanna ruin them because of cheap contact lens!

But overall I really love all the designs! Grey colour lens always make me look good! Those who have smaller eyes like me can consider this design! And also, not forgetting to mention that the delivery was fast as well! :)
