Brighter skin with Pika Pika Sparkling Bright Products!
When you saw the word Pika Pika, does it remind you of Pikachu? Is it anything about Pikachu?
Well, not in this post! Pika Pika stands for Sparkling in Japanese, which I'm going to show you how to achieve a sparkling skin using these new products from the Japanese brand called Pika Pika, exclusively at Watsons only!
Thanks to The Butterfly Project again, I'm able to join Watsons for the Pika Pika workshop few weeks ago at Foret Blanc. If you followed me on my Instagram (@NicoleYie), you might saw that I did a live video as well.
The workshop started with an introduction of the product, and then the No Mirror Makeup Challenge! How interesting!
It was really a mess! But quite fun tho, should I make a video on this soon? :D
And then we get to use the products from Pika Pika to cleanse our skin! Now let me introduce you guys what are the products and what's so special about them!
This is the first step of the range as it work as both makeup remover & cleanser! This deep cleansing liquid contains natural fruit extract, AHA and BHA. These ingredients are commonly seen in all the famous Japanese products!
The product is a watery liquid, and it has fruity smell (but not taste). Apply it on wet skin and gently rub it all over the face as it helps dissolve dead skin and impurities in clogged pores. Now removing makeup can be as easy as doing it in the shower!
It works so well that my double eyelid stickers came off as well! After the usage, my skin feels fresh and cooling without feeling my skin's hydration being ripped off.
The product itself is sticky, at first I thought it's like a peel off nose strips or peeling mask. Apply the gel onto cleansed nose, gently massage then rinse thoroughly.
In my opinion, the feeling is not really good when I applied it on my nose because it's sticky, however the result is impressive! I can really feel the hot and cold effect immediately, and I feel that my nose area has lesser blackhead bumps after washing it off!
Here comes the Peel Off Mask! This Peel Off Mask helps to purify dead skin and absorbs excess oil. It contains ARBUTIN to helps inhibit dark spots and freckle, prevent skin aging and revive dull skin shortly.
I actually didn't try it during the workshop, so I can't give any review on this. However, I know that it's more suitable for dry skin babes, hence I didn't bother to try it on myself as well.
So here's my cleansed skin after using the Pika Pika Deep Cleansing cleansing liquid & gel! Skin feels smooth and clean! Can't wait to use them longer to have a Pika Pika skin!

#2. PIKA PIKA Sparkling Bright Hot & Cool Cleansing Gel | MYR 39.00
As you can see from the name, this is quite an interesting product as it gives hot and cool effects together! It's still a cleansing gel, but I would see this as a mask that can be used 1-2 times per week.
The thermal effect helps to enlarge pores for removing blackheads and dirt, then the menthol helps to soothe your skin and shrink pores
Besides, it also helps to revive dull skin, improve skin transparency and strengthen skin barrier. Hence, it's a double function product: Cleansing + Repairing.

So what do you guys think? I personally think that the easy concept of getting skin cleansed and brightened is really good! The lazy me loves the Cleansing Liquid the most, while the dirty me thinks that the Hot & Cool Cleansing Gel is brilliant!
